I am a passionate educator and dedicated kindergarten teacher with a rich background in hospitality and tourism. My journey began on the vibrant island of O’ahu, where I had the privilege of working at the Four Seasons Resort. There, I honed my skills in service, communication, and creating thoughtful, nurturing experiences for guests from around the world.

While I cherished every moment in the hospitality industry, I felt a strong pull toward a deeper purpose—one that involved shaping young minds and contributing directly to the future of humanity. Driven by this calling, I embraced a career change and pursued my teaching credential, completing focused training in early childhood and childhood education. Today, I bring to my kindergarten classroom the warmth, empathy, and attention to detail that were the hallmarks of my work at Four Seasons.

My teaching philosophy centers on fostering curiosity, creativity, and confidence in each child. I believe that the foundation laid in kindergarten sets the stage for lifelong learning and personal growth. By integrating hands-on, play-based learning experiences with intentional literacy and social-emotional development, I aim to empower my students to become compassionate, curious, and resilient citizens of the world.

As a former hospitality professional, I know the importance of building strong relationships and creating a welcoming environment. In my classroom, every child and family is treated with respect, kindness, and a genuine enthusiasm for learning. I am committed to partnering with parents and colleagues to create a supportive community where every child can thrive.

I am excited to share my journey, my values, and my vision for teaching through this portfolio. Thank you for taking the time to learn more about me and the heart behind my work in early childhood education.
